Instead of a schedule of fees, I’ve included here a schedule of costs.
The going rate in Oregon for an hourly massage is an average of $60.00/hour.
I propose a pay-what-you-can, no shame, sliding scale of $80-$20/hour, but no one is turned away. Those who can pay provide for those who can’t. Giving is receiving.
I’ve calculated the following cost per massage (average estimate, based on a 1-hour massage, does not include time spent):
Laundry
Oils
Misc Supplies
Insurance
CEU’s/licensing fees (stuff to keep me legal and in-the-know)
RENT!
Equipment and depriciation
Tranportation expenses to get me to you(my office or your residence)
—$12/hour (give or take)
I ask that you give from your Heart, as I give from mine to you!
Because there is no shame here, I provide a box for you to leave donations/payments in (which word here applies to you depends on your philosophy, I suppose).
When I step out and you prepare your things after recieving my services, you can choose to leave what you desire. My box is very grateful to be receiving, as am I!
Keep in mind, any funds received go towards the well-being of all, a sort of social health-insurance policy.
